yes i read that...that why i say do not 4 bet pre

when villian 3 bets too much (at this point you dont know he does because of lol sample) you exploit him by calling a bit wider and 4 betting wider for value. i.e. instead of just calling 99-QQ you 4 bet those. you do not however 4 bet 85s against someone who is overly aggressive because he will dominate you alot when he calls. and you have less Fold equity because he is probably willing to stack off light. with 4 betting 85s pre you just get out of line and become the fish.

4b as a bluff with blockers to his premium hands, A5o/A4o
postflop is fine imo

What is your plan pre if he 5 bets or flats your 4 bet? You cannot expect to flop a pair+4 flush draw often.

Many times, you will be stuck in a bloated pot with a crappy hand and little equity to make a move.

If dude is 3 betting you consistently, tighten up and wait for a hand you are happy to get in pre to 4 bet. Poker is a long run game.

Against a really agressive reg/maniac fish I would tighten up from the button, and would raise only hands that I can play on with(r/flat vs 3bet; 4bet/f ; 4bet/get it in).
I would r/flat with 65s+ sc-s, 86s 1 gapped sc-s, some Axs-s, KQ, KJ, QJs-o type hands, probably I would just flat AQs-AQo(AJs-Ajo-A10s-A10o) against him(!), because we would often dominate his 3bet range, and I don't want to make him fold his weaker hands(with stronger broadways it's the same).
I would 4bet/f bluff with hands like low K-xs-s, K8-K10o, A-xo-s, hands with blockers.
I would 4bet/get it in with a really strong range, because his 5bet range mostly won't be so wide.(but it depends on the opponent, we have to keep an eye on every showdown he has).

Postflop is ok. It's strange, I thought he had no TP because of the sizing, they(fish) usually bet/donk bigger with TP-s on a dh board.
