50 NL $0.25/$0.50 4 Players

Hero CO KQo
Villain Btn Tight-Aggressive

Preflop
UTG folds
I raise to $1.50 in the CO
Villain Calls $1.50 in the Btn
BB folds

Flop ($3.38): Jh 5d 5s

I check, villain checks

Turn ($3.38): Jh 5d 5s 8c

I check, villain checks

Turn ($3.38): Jh 5d 5s 8c Kh

I check, villain bets $1.87
I call $1.87

Should I lead out on the flop with KQo? I assume that on this flop my opponent misses here. Maybe check flop bet turn also good?

What about raising him on the river in case he hit a King or has a weak Jack

I like a bet since You pick up equity on 9,T,K,Q,A Turns. This will allow You to continue firing the Turn on high frequencys. Most of those turncards also overcard many pairs in villains range, which puts a lot of pressure on him

Not a big fan of raising river, although your line looks suspicious so you may get looked up by weird stuff

Andy thanks again. It's becoming clearer to me now why betting the flop is the optimal choice on dry and paired flops.
