I have been playing poker on a mobile app for 4 months with a community of around 50 people from the local area and I’ve decided to review my results. The app tracks daily wins and losses and also shows stats like VPIP,PFR etc. I’ve gone ahead and put all of this data into an excel sheet so it can be visualised.
Now within this 50 or so player pool I would consider myself amongst the top 5 if not top 3 players and I only know one who has won more than me. Ironically, my VPIP is the 3rd lowest in the player pool( can see everyone’s stats during game).
Here below is my result. Now I wouldn’t consider myself a “good” player amongst the poker world and I’m aware I’m playing in a soft pool but I feel I should be crushing the game more than I am.
Judging by my stats and some of the sessions I think I might be playing slightly too LAG considering my opponents are majority fish with no fold equity. Sometimes if I run a big bluff and get called down lightly (middle pair on a flush and straight board) I go on tilt and play more LAG to get it back. Now to stop this I’ve set a 2 buyin rule per day and I am no longer running bluffs, but rather taking my opponents to V-Town.
Let me know what you guys think and where my leaks are? I hope 28k hands is enough sample size.
