Villain (LAG) opens MP $3
Folds to hero who defends BB Q 9

Flop ($6.50):
A 10 Jx

Hero leads $4
Villain calls $4

Turn ($14.50): 8

Hero leads $6
Villain raises $22
Hero calls

River ($58.50): 3x

Hero checks
Villain bets $45
Hero

If we call the turn raise & the river is a blank, should we always be calling the river here? Thoughts on B/F the turn? Rare to see 3 streets of action heads-up so this is an interesting spot. Appreciate the feedback!

leading turn is prob a mistake. I think we want to be leading turns where either we have a draw or nuts type of hand and the river is a good example of why we shouldnt lead. He can also just have a draw or a good hand so prob check call turn. I cant really tell you what to do on river because I prob wouldnt be there anyway. Checking turn where he checks back makes it an easier bet call on river.

On this wet board, we are going to give our opponent a free card? No way!

The turn bet is for value. Villain is likely checking back most 1-pair hands either hoping to get to showdown for the minimum or to improve on the river.

I am leading this turn 100% of the time with this board texture.

But folding, calling & re-raising all get consideration in this turn spot.

Okay so, Idk if you wanted my input or validation of how you played the hand lol. So explain why we lead flop and turn? looks like you got rekt on river. did you call or fold. because with the hand you have you put yourself in a bad spot.

curious why are we leading flop? villain has far more aces and sets than us. what made hands are we leading with on this flop?

Exactly what I was thinking. This board hit more of the villains range than ours

I probably would check/call flop instead of leading. And as played checking turn instead of betting too. I don't think giving a free card is that bad, this is similar to a thin value bet OTT? Sure we could get value from some AxXs that could outdraw us but other than that we are not getting called by worse here as often as we would OTR.

agreed with zekrea. most of our equity protecting bets on flop are against flush draws so villain gets there on turn. and we don't need to protect against straights as much. given 2/5 straight cards connect our straight and we have blockers to his combos.
