Decided to fire the second barrel when picked up some more out on the turn. On the river, I think, villain has a lot of pocket pairs and the Q is a somewhat scary card.

Turns not a good card to barrel, it's nice that you pick up 4 more outs but you won't get there often enough and will be overbluffing.

You don't rep many Q's besides maybe AQs sometimes. Pretty high variance play. I wouldn't be putting in my stack everytime I missed my pairin 3BP

flop is horrendous, turn is horrendous, river is wp. But please, learn to xf flop in those spots. Words cannot express how bad flop and turn are.

I guess we could go with not as bad as turn.

We do a lot better using small freq high sizing in that spot imo. It put his overall range in a hell of a spot.

I have a strong feeling Hero 3bets linear from that spot and if he starts cbetting all overcards combos without spades, it very quickly becomes horrendous.

what about "fine"?

I guess your 3bet range looks somewhat like TT+, AK, (maybe AQ), AQs, AJs, and some lower Axs, maybe KQs, QJs.
On this flop, your overpairs are obviously doing fine, but you should probably only be betting the unpaired hands if you have 2 diamonds or at least one big spade. (i.e. You need a FD or BDFD if you want to bet and barrel). This combo of AK has so little going for it that I'd guess it's a check(-fold).
