it's alright but shove river when you have around a psb left

I think this is a fairly substantial mistake at 2nl.

We should be looking at lines that let us put all the money in by the river so bet flop a bit bigger, bet turn a bit bigger, shove river.

I didn't see V was half stacked, so yeah bet it up. As a default though checking is completely fine.

Do you mean checking otf is fine as default? Care to explain why?

OOP in SRP we need to check a lot, that range needs to be protected with strong hands. Checking all of our overpairs that don't have BDFDs is a nice way of simplifying what hands we put in our checking range. So on this board we bet all of our overpairs with a diamond and check the ones without.

I don't understand that. To me it's the most basic bet. We raised pre and have initiative. I would bet any overpair otf.

That makes your checking range weaker.

Betting sometimes is fine. Checking sometimes is fine. Unless villain is a drooler (which is definitely possible) betting all your overpairs is not fine.
You'd be check-folding almost everything you don't bet, (or check-calling with too many weak pairs that can't get to showdown) which makes you very easy to beat. You've got to have some multi-street bluff-catchers in your checking range.

FWIW, I don't really like the turn bet in this hand, let alone the 3rd barrel, but I'm particularly passive when OOP. It might be OK or even good vs a 2NL halfstack though.
