BB: $2.12 (106 bb)
UTG: $2.40 (120 bb)
MP: $2.08 (104 bb)
Hero (CO): $2.80 (140 bb)
BTN: $2 (100 bb)
SB: $0.64 (32 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K 5
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, BTN calls $0.06, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.15) Q J 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.08, BTN calls $0.08

Turn: ($0.31) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.15, BTN calls $0.15

River: ($0.61) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.48, BTN raises to $1.71 and is all-in, Hero??

I didn't feel like he could have much here, but an overbet shove on the river could either be nuts or air given the board texture. Is this a clear fold?

Hm, I see. So in these scenarios its best to b/f second nuts? I guess it makes sense given how dry the rest of the board is.. the thing is though, at 2NL tons of villains would shove here with air or a J high flush. I ended up calling and he did have the nuts.

Live and learn, I guess.

That was sarcasm. It's an easy call. Sometimes people just have the nuts, all you can do is pay them off and move on to the next hand.

Ofc it is call. Do not understand why Isolated makes so many FOLD responses, with his carpal tunnel status it must be confusing for many posters.

Pre - this is just below my CO steal range
Flop - the cbet is not outright profitable imo, however we have plenty of equity and I prefer it to check/call.. we could x/raise but too much of his range hits this flop in some way that calls.
Turn - bet bigger, $0.20-$0.25.
River - we could say he raises the following that we beat (imo) 9s7s, T9s and 88 (8 combos total), hands we lose to As2s,3s,4s,7s,9s,Ts (6 combos) which makes it a very clear call.

I don't see why having lots of posts seemingly makes me credible. I'm just another idiot posting in the micro stakes forum.

Also, the correct play in many spots at micro stakes is to fold because people don't bluff often enough and if they're not maniacs, they're nits and nutpeddlars. There are few maniacs around.

call against a bad and or loose player and maybe fold to a good players and or tight players who only go all in with the nuts

Haha I see, the sarcasm did not come through. I only had 10 hands on this guy as I had just joined the table so didn't really have a clear read. I made the call on the basis that he was shoving with a worse flush or a straight. Thanks for the responses guys.

My graph has taken a 3BI drop in the last 1000 hands at least I won the $1 45-man tourney though, salves the pain a bit.

I dont think you are weak player with many posts, saw lot of good advices from you.
Only sometimes Im not sure whether you are on the really tight side or just joking, in this thread i thought the latter at first.

3BI drop in the last 1000 hands
I played about 1200 hands last night and was anywhere from down 3 buyins to up 2 buyins. Swings happen, don't wouldn't worry about being down 3 buyins over 1000 hands.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, it becomes hard to think straight when going through a prolonged losing/volatile streak, villains showing up with nuts everytime I make the second nuts. However I have identified some big pots where I played very badly, being too aggressive in spots where I shouldn't be.
