this isnt high in your range, we have plenty of better combos to call like sets, two pairs and even straights

if you don't know for sure this guy doesn't 3b small pairs and small scs from the sb
then river is a fold, because he's likely to vbet any 2p+ he has on this runout

Because I'm a station, I call down 100% of the time, sighing a fair bit on the turn and river. I probably call with KQs as well, tbh. Top pair is a pretty good hand, villain sometimes has worse (e.g. a worse Q or a random Axs or spades) and you're getting fairly decent odds on the river.

I wish people would fold top pair in 3-bet pots. Whenever I triple-barrel bluff in spots like this, they never fold. :/

Ok, so it means that I should have 22/66/78s in my preflop calling range?
My range against unknown in this spot is pretty nitty, I would say 77+/AJ+/KQ occasionally some smaller scs like 98s/78s. I don't like playing hands: KJ/QJ/J10, they might be easily dominated even if you hit a top pair. Hands like A5s, A4s I choose to 4bet bluff.
What is your strat in this spot?

you need to defend all pps imo, dw too much about the KJ/QJo region
Theyre meant to be defended but pop is too nitty so we do quite fine folding them vs. 3b

I think A4 and A5 are better as calls also theyre too strong to 4b bluff, use some weaker hands to do so (like KJ maybe)

can defend all pairs, all suited aces, 43s+,53s+, ATo+, KQo, K9s+,Q9s+
you can maybe fold 44-22,43s,53s,64s,75s,Q9s since these are marginal calls, hard to say they would do better than break even
I just use QQ+,AK to 4b for value and A5o,A4o as a bluff for the A blocker ,but include A3o,A2o,KJo against opp who 3b too much but don't defend to 4bets. Everything else in my range is a call.
You can defend a lot because positional advantage is massive in bigger pots.
