I generally raise more PF v open limp. Shove turn, this is often a badly played 2-pair.

In situations like this, I like to raise at least 4BB (but many times even more).

UTG is a calling station, any observant player at the table will know that, so you need to make it bigger to make calling from the BB too expensive. That way you get to the flop HU more often and life is easy.

In general, I stick to 3x + 1BB / limper IP & 3bb + 2bb / limper OOP.

If the fish has a full stack or even more I go bigger, 5-8bb with premiums. If he calls I make a note (eg. limp/called 6bb) and punish him with QQ+, AK. Some Fish never fold once they limped (even to a 10bb+ ISO), and when you know that, that's just printing money.

I also have a "limp/fold stat on my HUD. So if I have a decent sample, I immediately know how much someone likes to limp/call. If he folds alot to ISOs then you can exploit him by raising with a wider range.

But in this case, making a bigger raise would make the BB fold more often, so you get yourself in situations like this less often.

Thanks just add that stat to my HUD, it seems really useful since most of them do limp a lot.
