Traditionally when people flat from the SB they have hands like KQ/KJ/QJ. So the first thing I'd be thinking is this board smashes the SB's range. Also, this isn't a good c-bet candidate anyway. Without the A there isn't much barreling potential. Ace high has a small bit of showdown value which adds to the checkback argument.

The 6 doesn't introduce any value hands into your range. He's never going to fold a Q or T at this point. We beat a lot of his missed draws so we don't gain anything by folding out those hands. I would just check.

+1

Don't cbet that flop.
Once you checked the turn, you are bleeding away money by bluffing this river.
By betting this river, you are basically telling villain, "Will you please take my money here and call my horrible bluff that doesn't make sense?"

I think you see a lot of 99-22 as well in the micros, but your point is well made. I'd be checking back the flop with this combo. It's got very little going for it as a c-bet.
FWIW, A2o might not even be a +EV open for 3x on the button. It plays so horribly post-flop, and many beginners lose chunks with ragged aces, because they overplay them so much.

Definitely, I'm losing a lot by opening this hands even from the BU/CO unless the blinds are very tight.
