Villain is a decent reg.

I've been playing a bit too passive OOP in 3b pots, and looking for more spots to raise some %.

I ended up calling flop in this hand but felt like a raise some %, because we will have TT/99 almost full frequency and some frequency of T9s and ATs. Are we okay by just raising KQs/QJs/KJs type of hands here or do we need to start mixing in more of hands like this one and T9dd type hands?

Vs a decent reg we absolutely raise on this flop. if we are range checking (im too early in my poker adventure to start donk leading strats), and he is range betting, despite as you say we have TT/99/ATs/A9s and decent non made hand equity hands then solvers must be really sticking it in his eye. for 25nl, we still have to find a decent-ish chunk to go at him.

CO vs BTN i assume you have 78s/76s, some T8s maybe?
T9 spades for sure, all the 87suiteds.
FWIW, i dont even have JJ often (25%) vs a decent reg, i just 4bet. i think i fold JJ a reasonable amount and call the rest, not sure JJ would want to do too much x/r?

Agree we should 4bet pre most of the time. I think a raise would be okay some % of the time with the bd's, probably mostly x/c'ing though.

You're right about the 4b high freq or even pure. Just so damn used to flatting vs nits. :-D

@PJ: Thanks. Ok cool. Yeah I'm thinking some players (mistakenly) range bets this flop, then we for sure want to start x/r a lot of stuff.

@WM: Ty. Yeah seems reasonable.. I've definitely not raised these enough.

In those seats CO v BTN oop vs a good reg im absolutely 4betting here to 23-25bb and most likely calling off.

As for flop I probably just find a fold, you lose to all of his value range 99-AA beats u chopping with one combo of JJ but won't realise your equity oop as caller. Some of hif bluffs now have top pair and his other bluffs have some sort of gunshot, flushdraw or 5 out equity and u wont know which cards are bad. X/r I guess makes it easy for us because we aren't making as many decisions on later streets if we just go with it. I personally prefer to choose a more polarised xr strategy here and hands that have more outs / nut potential. If we xr here and get called we only have two outs and it might give his KQs KQo a straight.

Failed to realise the bd equity we have, I tend to agree that its ok to raise sometimes here but not by default.

Fine to flat pre vs a nit. I see no reason to raise this hand. Raise and then what? If you're raising, list every turn out in the deck and tell me what you're doing and why. He barely has anything that misses this board. We don't have great removal either and have plenty of sdv vs his Tx. We can still bluff him off QQ-KK on some run-outs /lines if we choose to as well.
