Why are you raising here? With a pair+FD in position you have too much equity to turn your hand into a bluff on the flop

You can easily call flop/turn and feel good about it

You probably should be 3betting hands like this given rake %s. Flop is a trivial call, we have position, let’s use it.

Preflop is fishy. Postflop I'd probably just call. This hand is only like 50/50 vs a reasonable continuing range (JJ+, Jx, AsXs). The way our equity is distributed is an issue too. If we brick the turn, which will happen 70% of the time, our hand becomes a significant underdog. So bloating the pot can put us in unnecessarily tough spots on turns.

cc co rfi is ok, even though I 3b it most of the time. Deffo fold vs squeeze tho.

ye ap, flop is better as a call I think. Nothing better will fold to the raise, we dont need to deny equity as much holding spades. And this deep, it would suck to get 3bet...

I'd take this line in a MTT sometimes v a relatively wide range, effectively for protection with massive equity if behind but this is poor this deep.

If you turn your hand, are you ready to play a 550bb pot with the 7-high flush? As you will but don't post any bad beat stories masquerading as a strat thread when you get stacked.

EDIT: not 7-high but you know what I mean

fold pre
100x deep, raising flop can't be that bad, not sure if any better than calling tho
I haven't studied deep play but guessing you're not supposed to build a massive pot w/o a very strong hand

Its more so the concern that we dont wanna build big pot having weak draws

really? I'd always call here. This is because of stacks depth I assume?

I would call preflop too, interested in the reasoning for a fold.
