Feels like I'm beaten when villain shoves on the river. I'm new to ring games but I don't think they bluff the river like this very often in the micros.

Any advice on how I could have played this hand is greatly appreciated.

I would've bet bigger on the flop. The board is very wet and connected so you want to bet bigger and charge draws more. AP I think a fold on the river is good, I agree that this line looks very value heavy. If you have seen this player pull bluffs like this before then it's a different story, but vs unknown I think fold is fine.

Bigger otf.

This converter is an eyesore.
It also makes no sense. How is this 6-handed with two folds before you, the cutoff/bu/sb folding after yet you're MP? It doesn't say "cutoff folds" but he's listed in the stacks.

Welcome to hell. This isn't a bluff very often.

Thanks lads. I agree. I should have bet pot on the flop.

Apologise for the converter. I didn't notice. First time using it.

It doesn't need to be pot. It just needs to be 2/3+. 1/2 is too small as a BB range should be peeling this flop a lot. I'd bet ~80% pot here fwiw. Pot's certainly fine as well.

depends on the info i have on player, if he is a solid player he is likely representing a set.

But if he is a fish he can do this with any TP.

im defenitely making my decition on the type of player.

I'm folding, but upset.

At least on the flop I can't see any V set because hero bet only half pot on that wet board, so in case of set I'd expect to see a V flop raise.

It doesn't seem to make sense for the villain's line, but there may also be some 5x in his range.

bigger on flop as people have said.

i may call occasionally dependent on what i've seen villain do and think there's a chance he's doing this with something like 10s or a strong 9 - K9s etc.

there's a few goofy straights that get there on the turn/river if he's the type that likes to call with any two suited connectors, and A5 hearts backdoors into it so against someone relatively unknown I likely begrudgingly fold.

Its not a donk shove on the river since villain check raised the turn. But yea in my experience these min raise then shove lines are usually strong hands. My question is what are we doing on the turn if villain makes a bigger raise?

Against a bigger raise I think it can already be considered a fold on the turn. Or is it wrong?

You really want to get your stack in vs. a big check raise?

Man I've been grinding sit and go's for about three years but I'm an absolute beginner at ring games with only 2K hands experience and obviously don't know wtf I'm doing.

This is what im most likely going to base my decision on when being put in a decision such as this hand.
