10NL - AQ in 3bet pot 10NL - AQ in 3bet pot

No specific reads on the CO but have seen light 3bet and seems to have a pretty wide range. Actual villain I have zero hands on.

1.) Is pre flop ok here? I want to get isolated with the loose CO and play the rest of the hand in position.

2.) Flop - My line here is raise/fold. Given the 1/3 pot size bet I want to get value from my hand.

3.) River - Not a clue what to do here, leaning towards folding vs an unknown, any other views?

Thanks all.

Thanks for the reply. If I 4-bet pre I'll fold to a shove. But if MP and/or CO call and I get donked into for 1/3 pot what would the plan be?

Thanks. Stupid question but why? I don't like this weak lead, think I'm ahead and want value. Are you calling this flop bet? What's your plan on the turn?

why would we want to strengthen his range and fold out his bluffs when our hand is ok but not incredible and we dont need protection?

as a rule of thumb try to keep ranges as wide as possible with marginal holding/weak draws (esp when little protection is required) and vice versa with strong hands

its not so white and black but is a decent rule to follow at micros

Fair point, don't want to create a monster pot with a mediocre hand. So as played do we call the flop here? Bet for value if checked to on the turn?

id call flop, x turn, bet river if he checks and call vs a bet
once again keeping his range as wide as possible

I always fold pre. I'd cold 4bet AQs.
Don't raise flop, as explained above.
