What you said is true, if this was a SRP with a bigger SPR you are probably better off betting/donking (or I could believe a solver says to do that, whether that's a good line is a different thing), but what you've mostly changed is the ranges at which people are playing.
One thing a solver isn't taking into account (or is if you use it right I guess) is that you can bet small once here and lose less than when you check and face a big bet (which is probably a bad scenario for you vs putting less money in).
WA/WB applies here. If he has AK or a set we have little equity, if he has a pocket pair he has very little equity. You beat all pairs but lose to all aces. I do realize the gutshot helps but meh, not that much. I guess its closer to SB/WA.
