What do you mean? What is it that you are looking to figure out?

I don't mind how you played this hand. However if you wanted to increase your chances of taking this pot down...

Well you have a few options on this run out...
The flop 6h 5s 8s, this kinda misses your UTG raising range... I don't mind checking or leading here. However if you lead on this board, your gonna have to fire the turn with a high frequency. You checking the turn after leading the flop basically says "I made a c-bet on the flop and now I'm giving up." (which is ok).
The fact that you checked back the turn makes this even more likely in Villains mind. He's probably thinking "as long as the river isn't a J,Q,K, or A, I'm going to lead and take this pot down a high % of the time."
So leading turn is something that you can do on this board. If he calls shut it down...

However since you checked the turn and villain led river, I would just fold and not worry about shoving over him. He could have played many weaker PP this way some which are sets now, and are checking into you hoping you will be value owning yourself or are bluffing. Also he started with 60BB so there is no use trying to shove over his stack size, he's gonna call you down with alot considering how you played the hand...

Now, if you have maybe AK, or AQ, instead of JTC, I would maybe make an argument that you could call his river bet given how the hand was played.

I really don't mind how you played this.

What do you think?

Thanks for the insight, Definitely feel like I should have taken another stab on the turn especially if im betting the flop.

This guy seems really fishy and passive I honestly wouldn't mind checking the flop and then checking down expecting to win some of the time.

You played it fine imo. Betting turn seems like a big mistake to me. He's playing over 40% of hands. If he called the flop he'll likely continue on the turn.

def check the flop, fish won't fold enough and there aren't many good turns to barrel
if you want to bet, look for back door flush draws to go along with good overcards and back door straight draws and less coordinated boards , i.e. you can cbet 2c 5s 9s. about the cbet size, you want to make it small against the fish, you're just trying to fold out his complete misses, not his A highs, gutshots or better. 1/4p accomplishes this much better than 1/2p.

as played, you are giving up on this runout, checking and folding everywhere

Very smart yes, i think if i could go back in time i would go with the check fold, him being a fish just makes it too hard to take the pot so it makes a lot of sense, you're right

we don't need to be cbetting this hand here v this villain. Plenty of better bluffs/semi bluffs and plenty for value.

check flop all day
