Do you have QQ in your range in this spot? Mostly raising OTF with JJ but calling is fine at some frequency I guess. On this turn V. will bet most QQ-AA (as he should), so definitely betting river especially when we have Jh.

I 4bet QQ. Yeah I was thinking us having a probably makes it more of a bet as well, thanks.

B/f something like $7.

I'm curious why you don't 4bet this in the CO vs a BTN 3bet in these positions where it's more appropriate, but in another thread you said you usually 4bet this from earlier positions?

Yeah it was Villain specific, this guy has a strong 3betting range in general and the other guy was Laggy

I think a small bet of 1/3 works well with our range

~7% total probably means about 11% vs a regs CO open from the button--so, not tight.

Vs the laggy guy in those positions you want some semi-strong hands in your OOP flatting range so that you can own him postflop--not flipping vs an extremely strong continuing range vs a 4bet from EP.

Basically the opposite of what you are doing to be more unexploitable.

Check and give V a chance to stab with his air. If we bet $7 all his ace high/king high just folds and V has very little worse that can call.

I remember it was 6% from the BTN. He was one of those regs that 3bet light from the blinds but tighter from IP. You’re probably right, should be 4betting more polar against laggy players. Not sure if this is a 4bet or flat PF against a 6% 3bet OTB.

What’s the top 6% hands of look like? I need to go check equilab

There is some variability in a top 6% range depending on how you value certain hands. Something like this is a reasonable approximation:
99+, AJs+, KQs, QJs, JTs, AQo+

Check then call. looks like V missed his flush.

Bet small like 1/3 of the pot.His range is very weak so its very hard for him to defend even vs small size bet.

this is very interesting its split like 50/50 between x/c and bet small.

They are essentially the same action except for x/c containing some bluffs maybe and bet small works better when you think he has "something" at least.
