Hey everyone, this hand was played on the app PokerBros.

$200 effective. According to the app, V currently has a 15-32% VPIP, a >15% PFR, and is running normal. I have V tagged as a good reg, but no notes on him.

OTTH

Pre-flop: V RFI BTN $3. Hero 3-bets SB $13.50 with A K. V 4-bets $32.50. Hero?

I’m not sure what to do here 200BB’s effective BTN vs. SB.

I’m not folding. I could potentially get behind a small 5 bet to $66.50. I’m not too worried about giving bluffs too good of a price to peel, since we will have them dominated anyway.

If we do that though, I think we have to fold to a jam. Which of course makes it less appealing.

Honestly it’s a challenging spot. Call, small raise, Jam all have significant merits and drawbacks

Don't 5bet lol that's ludicrous. Just want to call because you're going to dominate every one of his bluffs. You could also just fold, or randomise this spot by calling AKs and folding AKo. The issue is his 4bet is so huge I feel as though it somewhat precludes bluffs.

But ye EV of calling and folding can't be too bad, don't 5b a hand like this so which will iso you vs better. Keep his dominated hands like AJ/A5 in his range by calling.

Thanks for the feedback jdr, meale. I did randomize and end up clicking the fold button here but not sure what’s best at all.

Good to hear other people’s thought processes for meh spots like this.
