100nl 3B pot

Ive played higher stakes whole year but moved down in stakes couple of weeks ago cuz Im on a huge downswing.

Starting to doubt everything atm I think that this is a nobrainer call but at these stakes I think that no one ever bluffs. But maybe Ive just been so coolered for couple of weeks.

Re: 100nl 3B pot

You gotta fold flop here - you are beat by his entire betting range! Even his Ace high bluffs that bet on the flop, AQ, AK, are beating you! He has all the best overpairs in his range while you do not.

This is not a no-brainer call... this is a no-brainer fold. The river shove call is really really bad - what do you beat that bets three streets? He checks all his kings for showdown value and does not bet 99s -QQs on the river. I really see his 3-bullet range as AK, AQ, AA, A8s with few to no bluffs after you call on an Ace turn.

I would suggest taking some time to define a 3-bet range for 100NL, it is very, very tight. I feel you played out of impulse without thinking about combos. See: Reverse Implied Odds

Re: 100nl 3B pot

This is CO vs SB, right? It might be just about OK to call the 3-bet at 200NL+, but at lower stakes with higher rake and nittier 3-bet ranges, I think AJo is a fold to the 3-bet.

Flop is a pretty horrible spot, as I think villain is only betting 26% of pot. Ace highs with BDFDs must be calls, but I don't feel good about AJo.

It's hard to find many bluffs for villain on the river (nothing picked up backdoor outs on the turn). He should put you on Ax when you call the turn, (although I guess you have to peel once more with JJ/TT), but his river jam is gonna be AK or better pretty often. About the only airballs that make any sense for villain are QJs/JTs, but you block those.

Re: 100nl 3B pot

I’d fold pre, flop is a fold without a backdoor.

As played, call turn and fold river. Who really bluffs river here at these stakes?
