Depends on what you mean by black. All black ones are terrible. However, I got a pair of really dark brown ones, and they are awesome.

I think these are acceptable. http://static3.slamxhype.com/wp-cont...hoes-black.jpg

It's more expensive and requires more thought but have so many different pieces to choose from makes it worth it. I'm a big nerd but for me the fun in buying all this crap is wearing new and different things, things that may not conform to societal norms. It's fun to wear something a little different, maybe a little obscure, and just see what kind of reaction you get and most importantly observe how you feel when wearing it. Fall/winter is the sht for that sorta thing.

I'm actually liking those CCuster. If you're gonna wear boat shoes, why not make them interesting to look at?

I have plain color shoes too, but your clothes should bring attention to you(thats positive ldo). I have a decent amount of clothes either that are white, or match either of those blues...So when the outfit all comes together it looks really good. Obviously i dont wear those with white shorts and red top, as that is out of place, but when I do wear clothes of similar warmth/colors/style, than it comes together much better than just regular solid brown sperrys do.

Took the Nudies back got some ACP New Standards. REally liking them so far. New pair of desert boots came in, got the taupe suede ones. Also ordered a pair of white GATs from some dude in Germany off styleforum, they look pretty dope in pics.
08-17-2011 , 06:33 PM
Solid. I also got GATs from a German guy but off Superfuture instead, probably the same guy/shoe. If yours have the thin laces you may want to swap them out for thicker ones for a better look.

#2 is straight off the hipster's torso. #3 is sorta hipsterish w that collar but at least it doesn't have the stripes. can't remember what #1 was so it must nota been good.

actually no #1 is fine but he wears it like a gay imo. don't wear it like that and don't stand like that.
08-18-2011 , 04:18 PM
For that kind of money the sleeves shouldn't flare at all. #1 is the only one I'd consider at that price.

Thinking of buying this shirt if it fits well. Thoughts?

I think it looks pretty good, roll the sleeves up though imo

also question what are the best type of shorts to wear with a solid blue polo? May just wear jeans but it's really hot out today.
08-18-2011 , 04:51 PM
I'd go w light coloured shorts, white or khaki. Probably khaki cause I think white shorts are pretty fem.
08-18-2011 , 04:52 PM
So something along these lines?
