Chinos definitely fall under the umbrella term of bc, but to consider then the pant definition of bc is bad.

I mean look at fryke, his employment says bc and people wear t-shirts.

Business casual can't be easily defined. It's dependent. Telling someone who doesn't know what It means that chinos are the defintion of it is insincere.

In before, chinos are the definition of Business casual assuming the match the following colors

Seems like a poor defintion
Suits also come in different colours. Therefore I guess suits aren't business formal, because apparebtly "suits are the definition of business formal assuming they match the following colours" is a poor definition.

Not sure why I'm getting involved

It's like 100 posts ago, but does Tony work in finance? I feel this argument has had a straw man thrown in and has gone from what is busies casual to what is business casual in finance which are vastly different things.

Can't be bothered searching for original post tho. Off the top of my head, if someone said wear business casual I would rock up in weekday warriors from bonobos, gingham shirt and strands. I'm not sure who I just sided with there

The Fryke,

I don't work in Finance although I'll be in the accounting department as an analyst

It's for a tech company that does data storage in a city the is not Chicago or NYC so its the sticks to 2p2

But my read is that its more business casual than formal and pretty laid back. Im gonna go a little nicer probably and roll with slacks, and dress shirt

Cuuuuuuuusssssssssstttttteeeeeerrrrrrrrr!

I've worked in several different business casual environments -- either law firms or mixed-function corporate settings and have probably seen 300,000 man-days of outfits. I'd say chinos comprise well less than five per cent of that, excluding Fridays of course. Jeans are much more popular than chinos. Chinos are more commonplace in LA than in Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC.

For business casual, I wear slacks and an open shirt, sometimes with a sweater or sweater-shirt. I have a couple of pair of nice corduroys that I might wear in cold-weather months, but never in the summer.

Since I moved to DC, I've considered buying a seersucker suit. You see those once in a while; they're actually somewhat stylish in an old-school way. I'm not sure I could carry it off well, though. This would obviously not be business casual.

Suit supply outlet open for first time I have ever seen. All of last season's clothes on sale at massive discounts.

Google suit supply outlet then enter code BETHEFIRST

Got a lightweight bomber, sweater, and scarf. Total like 210, marked down from prob like 430 total.

I am pissed I didn't see the email that was sent st 11 am until right now. Prob missed out on a few more decent pieces

Almost bought a bag too. Great sales on those.

All sales final, but I ordered an xl for sweater and jacket and am preying. They have fairly good size guides and they align with the size guides that my suit and jacket from them so should be good. If not be prepared for some flippage if you are slightly smaller than me.

If the SuitSupply outlets in the US are the same as in Europe then they keep adding stuff throughout. Some of it are returns but a lot of stuff is new as well so it's worth to keep checking throughout the week.

What's the update on this stuff - how'd they fit? I rail suit supply super often but have yet to pull the trigger mainly because I'm not currently around a store so would have to buy online

The bomber is amazing, gonna get a lot of wear in spring and some cooler summer days(probably perfect for days between 55-65). Have worn it a few times and got a couple compliments from peeps at work.

The sweater looks dope, the fit is decent, although I am still up in the air on best way to incorporate a linen sweater.

Will try to get fit pics up in the near future.

Definitely feel like the fits align well with the fit guides online. I wear a 42R in napoli and the XLs seem fine.

I now have 1 suit, 1 jacket, 1 sweater and 1 coat from them and they all were pretty in line with what I was expecting in terms of fit.

Also everyone should have one of these:

Soft Tape Measure

Super helpful when buying online to know your measurements, also can work for MTM sits where you measure a well fitting shirt or something

Speaking of Suti Supply, saw macklemore rocking a suit supply coat(shows how much i stalk their products) in his last music video:

http://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/coats...tml?cgid=Coats

Double breated+ loud pattern+ large lapels is too bold, even for me, but just thought it was worth pointing out. Prob first time I recognized a product from a famous person(outside of watches/shoes which are easy a lot of the time)

Henry17 recommended this stuff and I tried it, it's really good. Clears up the bags really well. I don't use it daily, cause I have a normal eye cream for that, but if I'm hungover or only a couple hours sleep it's a God send

If you research some on /skincareaddiction you'll find under eye creams really don't do anything regular moisturizing/spf doesn't do.

The darkness isn't reversible and on some people is caused by bone structure. If it's really bad, you're best off using a little makeup to be honest, but 99% of guys think they're too masculine for that obv

Here's a good post on the topic: http://www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAddi...les_under_eye/

If yours are caused by tear trough/bone structure, you can only help make it look better with some makeup, or by paying for fillers, unfortunately.

If not, you can only get very very minor improvements using vit c/retinoids which are both pretty expensive.

Bag issues are pretty genetic based and the skin under the eye is extremely thin so you can't do much to improve its appearance.

In general, if you just moisturize/spf every day, your skin is going to age better than 95% of people.

All the extra expensive stuff like vit c/retinoids/aha/bha/etc. Have much less impact on the overall appearance of your skin than simple daily moisturizing/spf. The exception would be retin-a, which can be very helpful in anti aging, but you need a prescription or to find it online somewhere and you really have to use spf religiously with it because it makes you very photosensitive.
