Shoulder seem is off a smidgen too. Will def keep them as they are great for the price.
custer, the arms look pretty bad. you'd be way better off getting a cheap cable neck sweater that fits rather than wearing this one with the arms looking off.

this is a good example of why it's never a good idea to order a new item online if you don't know how it will fit. been burned too many times. unless free and easy returns, then it's okay.

Anyone experience with altering a sweater?
I was thinking about bringing a sweater to my tailor just to see how it works, but if anyone has experience with it and could share them would be nice.

Arms off where? If you are talking length on the watch side, it is exaggerated< I should have taken the pic with it over my watch. Look at where my thumb breaks and where the sweater is currently sitting, once it sits there it is barely too long(no more than half an inch). If you are talking width I just disagree.

Add a signifgant(button down) layer and it fits fine

Doesn't look all that off, not sure what he's talking about
01-30-2014 , 09:54 PM
Pretty sure he's taking about the width. Might be a little wide but whatever. Well within my "it fits good enough" range.

Def size one size down on the sweater, it's to big all around
01-30-2014 , 10:57 PM
100% wouldnt fit sized down. Mainly it would be too short in the body(Which is the main problem with pretty much all mediums at my size).

I also expect a small amount of shrinkage.
01-31-2014 , 12:58 AM
Yeah sizing down wouldn't work, but I'd return them and get a different brand that fits you better (large with a slimmer cut)

Sweater size seems completely fine IMO. Especially if you'll be layering it with a button down as well.

Welp just pulled the trigger on AEs Park in bourbon, and got the players in walnut. Also got a belt for the Parks and shoe trees. GG 700$. Have seen a few people report problems with the heels on the parks, run good 1 time.

What do you guys wear to the gym? I've been going nearly every day so might as well upgrade my gym wear.
02-04-2014 , 01:38 PM
LOL, buying things especially for the gym is silly. Wear whatever. It isnt a fashion contest.

That said:

If you really want to buy something just get some decentish cotton shirts(like uniqlo/target mossimo/etc.), and wear those. It really doenst matter though.

I average 1h+/day. Interact with other people. Occasionally run into friends/acquaintances. It would be silly to not put some effort in appearance.

Look good feel good play good
02-04-2014 , 02:28 PM
The snap backs part of that video is hilarious

+1 one to cody

I usually just wear bball shorts or pants if its cold and a shirt I don't care about and a hoodie. I don't like wearing tanks because I don't feel my physique warrants wearing one in the gym and most of the time Ill keep my hoodie on if I don't get too hot.

I like dry fit stuff for fit and so you dont get super sweaty. Huge spew but the lululemon dry fit tee's are sweet. If not just go any of the underarmour nike etc. I really like the nike shorts made of the same material or just b-ball shorts.

Definitely agree with this. My standard is usually just newish shoes, running shorts and either a soccer training shirt or a Pro Combat/Under Armor-type compression top. Uniqlo athletic stuff is good, simple and easy on the wallet as well.

Gym is all about being comfortable for whatever you're doing though.
02-06-2014 , 06:08 AM
i hate people that dress wrong at gym. who the **** wears a hat? honestly.

dry fit stuff is the nuts. i sweat an insane amount and i cant wear anything but a dry fit or its gonna cling

These pants might rustle some jimmmies. Got the AE players. love them

02-10-2014 , 09:46 AM
What's wrong with the pants? Look like navy chinos which go great with those shoes.
02-10-2014 , 09:53 AM
Looks like aubergine/eggplant to me.
02-10-2014 , 10:26 AM
