lol bg. I'm able to find this much more entertaining/clear now that I realize I was pretty stupid to ever have any feelings for her beyond a friend in the first place and that is purged from me. I mean seriously, what the **** was I thinking? How do I not listen to all of you?

So BG has this guy she's been hanging out with all the time. The instant I saw them together IRL (plus knowing him), I knew she was friend zoning the **** out of him and he had no idea. She started emo iming me tonight, and I was just being nice and responding or whatever (no I am in no way trying to reopen things with her and I will never, ever go down that path again... plus geographically she's far away from me for good thank gosh so that just won't be a problem... now that I've been involved with other girls and have so many other social groups and options around, I realize how pathetic I was being). Then she told me how the only guy she's hanging out with has been this guy and that she only sees him as a friend and doesn't want anything more from him so he doesn't really count.

Then tonight she's drunk texting me... in fact I had a lot of girls drunk texting me tonight (unsure if that is a thinly veiled brag or beat), so I was having trouble keeping up with all of them. I hadn't replied to her in a while, then she texts me saying, "Oh [the guy from above] is coming to pick me up now."

To which I reply, "Wow you really have him by the balls."
I get a text back, "He saw that..."

Later on I hear the familiar facebook chat POP and it's that guy (I know him independently of BG) IMing me.

"Yo man... you are right."
"Hey dude I'm sorry about that taht was rude."
"No you're right man. She's been jerking me around for weeks now. We hang out all the time and do everything together... she even sleeps at my house and nothing happens. It's like torture sometimes. I'm totally friend zoned here and she's just dicking me around, isn't she?"
"Yes."
"fml... I guess I'll just keep hanging out with her and see what happens."
"Nothing will happen. You're cooked."
"I know but... what's the harm?"

I should have made it clearer that this guy and I are friends. Not like super close friends, but friends enough that shooting an IM is not socially awkward or unacceptable at all. In fact he and I had a rather lengthy conversation earlier this week discussing another mutual friend of ours who we thought needed psychological help lol.
