i am intimidated/freaked out by girls that could be me up...not sure i'd say its badass..

I think we agree on this, it's just a misunderstanding. I wouldn't continue to date a girl that had a terrible personality and I wasn't getting action from. I'd only keep seeing her if there was action.

Also, there is a limit to how bad the personality could be. That is, girls with really bad personalities never like me, so it's unrealistic to imagine a scenario where a girl has the absolute worst personality and yet still likes me.

For example, pof date girl that I took to the party - I didn't like her personality, but it was definitely tolerable. If she were a 9 I would have called her back.

as a skinny guy I feel the same, but generally athletic chicks are hot as long as they're not gigantic

I wanted to go there, but declined...instead I chose to make fun of the short kid in our group of friends, which is even better b/c short kid is arrogant and also wanted the girl who said something about my legs and he never had a chance.

She never flirted with him, but he interpreted her friendship as positive signals. It was so lolz. I could tell from Day 1 he wanted her. He even went so far as to profess his desire to her roommate (also in our group of friends from class). Basically, if I could envision what a noob high schooler or college freshman would do, he did it. It was a great reminder of what not to do.

I'm in graduate school fwiw, 24yrs old, and these other ppl are 21-22. It's amazing how immature they seem. I took a couple yrs off to play poker after undergrad which is why I'm an old man in the class

so apparently the "hang out" with the girl didn't happen tonight. I texted before classes letting her know I'll scoop her up after my night classes, she responded saying she isn't sure since she is mad tired but she'll let me know.

After my classes I told her that I'm just gonna stay home and hang out with a few buddies since she's tired. She responded by saying "o haha ok. I'm hanging out with my friends right now drinking"

According to my friends this was an invite from her but I'm too slow to see this response as an invite. Now it's 3am and I got that text at 10:30pm.
What's my play? How do I set a new date? O btw, she doesn't have a car so she doesn't drive, she lives on college campus which is in another state but only about 35mins from where I live so driving to her is never a problem.
