My definition (and I think what most people around me IRL would say)
- I don't even mention making out tbh. I'm not generally a super gossipy person anyway, but it's really just not my style
- Hooking up = more than making out (generally not with other people in the room, but there's always an exception lol) but less than sex
If I bang one out with a chick, it depends. If I'm just with the guys (and I include some of my female friends in there. No they are not trannies), I'll say "yeah, we banged two out and then fell asleep" or something like that. If it's mixed company, or like my mom or something, I'll say "yeah she stayed over."
In before I get made fun of for being honest about my sex life with my parents.
