Also, please don't think I'm making this more serious than it is with the length and depth of my TRs. I just decided for these I'm going to be pretty detailed, rather than just cliffnoting everything, because a) I think the situation itself is interesting enough, b) I think you guys will enjoy reading the TRs more with the included details, c) some funny **** happens and d), like I said before, I really miss writing.
I do assure you, though, that this story is entirely true. Yeota can vouch for most of it, and he would call me out in a heartbeat if I started making **** up. The only thing that might not be 100% is the EXACT dialogue that was said. It would be impossible for me to remember exactly what words were said, but I'm fairly certainly that I am pretty close. The meaning will still be the same.
Gotta do some grocery shopping and drop my suits off at the cleaners (why do I always wait until 24 hours before I need them and then have to pay the express rate?), but then I'll be back with another version. Like I said, if you are tiring of the in depth approach, let me know and I can cliffnote to the end, but I think we'll lose some of the fun along the way doing that.
Also, over the summer I plan on writing either one longer fictional story or a series of short stories based on my true stories from this thread, some stories my friends have told me about themselves and other things I've heard in the news or read online. I want to compile them into something of a larger work which would be a comedy. This wouldn't be for any hopes of publication or anything, but just for my own edification and as a personal project. So writing stuff out here helps me remember exactly what happened too.
I did this with my first break up, and I find it not only to be largely therapeutic, but a fun exercise in writing too.
