DO NOT BUY WHEAT BEER. Seriously.
10-13-2010 , 02:32 AM
There's a long list of good beers, and very few of them are wheat beers. There was a thread in SL that had something to do with your favorite beer.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/67...t-beer-498339/

It really depends on what kind of beer you like. Do you have much experience with beers? Do you know whether you like IPAs, stouts, porters, wheat, etc.?

Are you located in Denver? (Guess from your location.) Don't really remember from any previous posts.

jfc ignore this post. if you can find boulevard, otherwise 312, sunset wheat (already a fruity taste so no need for oranges) or hoegaarden (a different aftertaste but still solid brewskies)

Yeah I've checked that thread out before and it's pretty good.

Im in fort collins which is pretty close to denver. There are actually a couple different breweries in the area like fat tire.

I enjoy mexican beers like corona and dos equis but have enjoyed new castle when I've had it.

also regarding wheat beers I have had an agave wheat before and it was pretty good.

Naaah cider is horrible IMO.. Beer and rum is the way to go
10-13-2010 , 06:47 AM
Admittedly its hard to drink more than a few cans of cider in one go because of the fizz. Anything more and thats what the spirits are for ^_^

wtf did one rape your sister or something?
Wheats can be great, but they are out of season (they are typically summery beers)

imo this is not a good list of wheats (dont much care for 312 or sunset wheat). Hoegaarden is good, of course. I think I need to taste 312 again; maybe I had it from a bad keg (at Lou Malnati's iirc). I thought it was gross, and I love wheats.

The brewery is New Belgium. You need to go there. Now. For a tour and tasting. Such a cool place. I understand there are several breweries in Ft Collins. You should tour all of them and taste taste taste.

Check out the 1554 at NB. Its a pretty smooth, black lager.

I actually like Newcastle; it's what I order when a bar tells me my choices are Newcastle, Bud, Bud light, Miller lite, Coors light, PBR, ...

Cider is good too, but just not an American thing I guess.

Yeah thats right I always forget the name of all the breweries up here. I agree I need to take a tour, though I'm not sure if you have to be 21 or not since I'm only 19 though I'm working on getting fake lol.
