Ok I'm tilting a little bit and I've been working at this for 24 hours now. I'm trying to cancel a Praxis II exam from ets.org. They have told me to call prometric, fine. I call them they tell me the exam is not theirs so call ets. I tell them this, ets tells me to call the school that is giving the exam. I do so, school tells me to call ETS.

I've wrote e-mails, ect. Does anyone have any idea how to cancel a Praxis II exam. Its Social Studies: Interpretation of Materials 0083. Nothing I do is working and its tilting me to no end.

You might want to start a new thread about it. I'm not sure how many people keep up with this thread.

This might be naive, but you've been here, right? This is what you mean by the first 3 sentences?

http://www.ets.org/praxis/register/changes/

edit - and if you're gonna say "I've wrote e-mails," good thing you're cancelling imo

Happy birthday
Only 20. Still feel old. Perhaps I should go to a doctor to check if everything is okay, I haven't been to one in over 10 years.

this hot girl who made a speech at my school introducing barack obama for a healthcare rally went for a physical and turns out she had cancer. thats why she made the speech.

so yea, go to the doctor occasionally.

see: my roommate with a mystery leg problem who i had to harass the **** out of to get him to go to the doctor. cancer... they caught it; it's fixed.

im super paranoid about health. i get a ball-touching complete physical every year. even had a doc ask me why i get one every year since im so young. i replied, "why not? insurance covers one for free every year. 1 hour of my time coming to see you to make sure everything is in order and maybe catch something serious a year in advance seems worth it."

"cant argue with that"

Solid advice I need to start listening to it.

Though I'm with Flyingbanana I've had a physical twice in like the past 5 years

Some of you are old enough to be my father
09-15-2010 , 07:51 PM
My yearly physical also used to be an annual ritual of doctors telling me, "You aren't dangerously obese or anything, but you are unhealthily overweight. You really need to consider losing weight any way you can."

Now it's:

*looks at chart*
*looks at me*
*raises eyebrow*
"Is this right? Oh my gosh. You've lost that much weight? How the hell did you do that? Good for you!"
*strokes ego*
*turns head and coughs*

One doctor asked me all about it because he was concerned I got cancer or a parasite or something that caused me to lose all the weight and I hadn't actually actively tried to do it lol.

cool story fatty
09-15-2010 , 08:03 PM
I know the two are wrapped up together, but I've never heard a guy refer to his balls as his ego.
09-15-2010 , 08:05 PM
that was unintentional

but it's the type of awesome juxtaposition i'd come up with, so i'll take credit for it

I haven't gotten one since I stopped getting them for athletics. Definitely going to get one before graduating and getting off of my parents' insurance though.
09-15-2010 , 09:11 PM
Dammit, now that was one toy that I wanted so badly for Christmas that my parents didn't hook me up with. They were pretty good about most of my top choices during my childhood, but they left me hanging on that one.
