What were you doing in my country!!!????
i marched in your new year's day parade a couple years ago. we were the featured performance. i got to solo for the lord mayor of dublin and some other various important people. we stayed for a week or two at some fancy hotel in dublin. nice country.
i really liked it there. dublin is very touristy, but i tried to find all the hole in the wall bars where the townies hang out. the countryside is very beautiful.
i really liked the people too. i thought they would troll us because we were americans, but they were all very nice and kind, even the wasted irish guys at the bar. although i think they were more interested in talking to the girls i was with than talking with me. was not impressed with the quality of women though :-/.
we never went to belfast... it was close-ish in proximity to dublin. i heard belfast is not a nice place for americans to be.
probably my favorite memory is one of my friends puking his brains out on a dublin sidewalk at 1 AM outside of a bar. bartender comes out to clean it up and just lights into my friend for being a "****ing typical american lad who cant drink worth ****"
