Anyone else feel like college is just a bit too easy? I don't wanna say there aren't challenges but, it's really not that hard. I don't know about you guys but my avg syllabus has looked like this:

8 quizzes (40%)
3 short-papers (20%)
Midterm(20%)
Final (20%)

I'm considering not buying textbooks anymore, they just seem like such a waste of money. I never read them and with a little common sense and paying attention and taking notes in class, the quizzes aren't that difficult.

Whats everyone else think?

Finance, I should have addressed this question. I definitely plan on being intellectually raped once I start my 400 level classes.

As far as like intro classes, humanities and gen. curriculum go though, this s.hit is a jopke.

that syllabus actually looks on the heavy side for me for an intro class fwiw. i go to brown, my classes are jokes for the most part and the avg GPA is 3.6

you just gotta pick the right classes. avoid hard sciences, take humanities classes where you can pound out an allnighter on your essays and the teacher will slurp all over your essay because it uses big sentences with the buzzwords she likes

It's both Texas and Tennessee. AND Tampa.

Around here, it's Tennessee b/c I go to an SEC school.

Also, I always provide pics. Karak/yeota can vouch.

edit - right click + "save image location" + take away the "-1" at the end of the url to see pics of my hot organic chemistry 2 professor. She made that class bearable.

UTampa is a safety school.

go to a state school with a weed out system, see how well you do.

So ****** weird. I do too. I have a couple of National Champ shirts. They're sweet. I also went to a few games and met most of the girls on the team that won that year.

Trying to find some good pics, but all the ones with them in jerseys don't look attractive.

I agree college is very easy. I'm also a finance major and i'm only taking 4 classes this semester but I play a lot of poker and work 15-20 hours a week. I feel that people at my school are dumb tho bc they party too much. Got an 88 on a corporate finance test that really wasnt hard (got an index card with all the formulas) and the average for the class was a 71 which was really bad.

Fyi I got into all the schools I applied for, including all SUNY schools.

UT gave me a big scholarship to go there. Plus UT>state schools

Also, UT ranks higher in best college rankings of 2010 then KU, just so ya know. Nice showing in the ncaa too btw.
