I feel the really good Wynn events are all very expensive. Cheapest is a $1600 that has any kind of nice guarantee. There's an $1100 buyin but the guarantee imo sucks. Their first bounty tournament is $2200 which is way too high. Their second bounty at the end is $1600. Too many $1600's and above events with the nice guarantees. Wynn has always made a few $1100 tournaments available with at least a $1000000 guarantee but no more. Pretty disappointing.

Guarantees are going to be down this year across the board for obvious reasons.
FWIW, the guarantees at the Venetian all year have been lower than normal and they have routinely beat their guarantees by 2x+
Almost all mtts hosted by wynn and venetian had their gtds smashed this summer. Nevertheless, as far as I see they put the expensive mtts when wsop has the cheapest ones, like Salute to Warriors.

In an environment where inflation is out of control and live tournament fields are still setting records, the WSOPs stance of not raising and sometimes lowering buy-ins is going to always get countered by other rooms who see the turnouts at events like WPT Florida and realize there's a large customer base for it. I appreciate the variety that is being offered across the casinos, it'd be a nightmare if every day was 3 600s around the city with a 500k guarantee.

Buy ins should be larger, this is Vegas during the most anticipated poker series of the year! People save year round for this stuff and put it out on the line. There's still enough lower tournaments (<$500) for recs to find with value and guarantees. Plus, if you finish top 3 in almost any multi-day tournament, your job is done.
