Anyone know if this series will again be played in the same horrible location as the past couple of years?

I asked the WSOP via twitter same question and of course no answer. Last years location was a disgrace. I keep getting bugged to play the HORSE event (Which I want to) but no way unless they hold it in the pavilion.

Went over to the Rio to see if I could sign up for event #1. They were setting up back in the corner of Masquerade Village. They had the cage set up, but of course nobody working the windows yet.

It is on!

What would you prefer, play the The Rio WSOPC event #13: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo or fire 2 bullets in the Wynn $600 A&B

I'll pass. I wish someone would buy the Rio and put some money into it and make it a great property.

At least it's a WSOP event, so they move in great lighting even in a temporary venue. Too bad PHo can't make a similar investment. Their permanent room could use it too. Played today and had trouble seeing the board cards all session.

The Wynn $600 $200k GTD is more value than the $400 WSOPC. Don’t you think so?

I don’t think the ceiling at PH could handle a truss like that. They do bring in spotlights but only from the edges of the playing area.

That truss is standing on the floor, not hung from a ceiling.

Did anyone play there the first couple of events? Is it cold like the Amazon room? Are people going around to the stores a distraction?

Played events1 and 2. Not nearly as cold as the Amazon, other conference rooms. And no, almost no distraction whatsoever from folks outside the roped off table areas.
