really suck as think this stop would have a great turnout and so late notice

5 days notice think of the players, dealers etc that will lose non refundable airfare, you would think the casino would offer to reimburse those affected. Oh hell this is a casino and they ain't reimbursing anyone.

I was there earlier today around 2 pm or so. My plan was to register for a couple events I planned on playing to avoid the lines and whatnot of registering the day of the event. If it's anything like MSPT events, they will have two cashiers working to process all the entries and it takes an eternity.

I was out of town a few backs and flew home to Milwaukee on 01/14. I stopped there for some gas card promotion and went to the poker room to find out when registration was opening. I was told registration will open for the WSOP-C on 01/20. So I drove an hour and fifteen minutes today to register only to be told registration will not open until 02/02. Thought that was odd at first.

I go downstairs to play some VP and as I'm getting ready to leave I get a text from a friend with the same picture posted earlier. I asked WTF and they had no response and pretty much did not know anything at all. All I can say is two suits were at the registration area for cash and the phone was ringing off the hook with the same questions about the events.

Such a disappointment. I enjoy these $365type buy-in events and was looking forward to playing a few of them. I feel bad for the players that booked airfare, hotels and adjust work schedules for this.

If I hear more I'll post something.

I had a room booked with the WSOP rate and they emailed me to let me know the event was cancelled, and if I still want to come I can't have the WSOP rate. Thanks Potawatomi.

Was going to be my first WSOP circuit. Super disappointed.

I normally go to Vegas this time of year. I thought I would take airfare and other expenses and use that money for entry fees. So instead of Vegas I was set up to o to Milwaukee for Superbowl weekend. Now no reason to go to Milwaukee and I'm stuck in Chicago instead of being in Vegas.

That Poker room started going downhill as soon as they decided to have a cracked aces promotion run 5am on weekday mornings. What a **** show over there. An embarrassment to Milwaukee.

My contact who works for WSOP is telling me that unlike Cleveland, where WSOP pulled out at the last minute, in this case, it was Pot who pulled out on WSOP at the last minute and never gave an explanation.

Its surely not a space issue. Theyve run massive field events in the past for mspt.

Is it something to do with bravo that was brought up earlier?

They installed bravo about 2 weeks. Poto removed the cancellation tweet and removed the announcement from their site.

Bravo has been in place and running for over a week. I don't think it has to do anything with that. Somebody on Reddit said that new management never liked it and decided at the last minute to cancel it.

So wtf is going on at Potowatomi? The cancellation notice removed. Is the tournament going or not. What a hell of a way to run a business.

this is fun... if there's a tournament I'd like to come play LOL... i've cancelled my flight and hotel, but haven't cancelled my time off work.... what gives....

If you already visited that page you might have to clear your cache, it shows nothing for me.

They are now saying they won't have more information until Monday and are not sure if the tournament will run or not.

Well the assclowns in charge at Poto should make up their minds...

the dealers in the current WSOP stop in Tunica were saying the rumor for why the cancellation was something to do with survelliance issues that were supposed to be addressed and weren't so the gaming commish shut them down. Somebody also said the poker room manager @ Poto was fired.
