WSOPC Dilemma WSOPC Dilemma

Years ago when I turned 21, I screwed myself. I lost $2500 in a very short time while drunk and signed to ban myself from all casinos in my state. Next thing I know, I'm banned for life from all Caesars properties.

Fast forward 5 years, I play poker exclusively and do well. I am sad because I will never be able to play in the WSOP and I was only 21 when I irrationally banned myself for life.

The main reason for this post is the WSOPC is coming to a non-Caesars host property that I am a regular at (in a different state). A friend told me that the host casinos that are not owned by Caesars will let me play since they do not have access to who is banned or not.

I have had some final tables in the last year or two so I was hoping to play. My question is this, if I win big 5k+, when you have to give your SSN, will they run it through Caesars database and keep all my money? Or I am able to play? The casino I play at and that is hosting the WSOPC is not owned by Caesars and I am fully allowed legally to play at this Host casino (cash and host ran tournaments).

Reading the rules specifically and carefully, I believe I can play, I just would not be eligible for any leaderboard prizes for WSOP which I fully understand. Can anyone shed some information here or thoughts?

Truly disheartens me when I regret that ban completely. Have a full time well paying job and play cash games every few weeks, with a winning of roughly 5BB/hr. I know many people have a problem but I was very young and overreacted. Any thoughts here would be appreciated.

What state are you in? Some (not all) allow you to unban yourself. From what I found at caesar's (https://totalrewards.custhelp.com/ap...ming-exclusion), they will remove you from their exclusion list when they receive official word from your state government.

Start sending emails to your state and Caesar's.
