Schedule and structures can be found at pokerexecutives.com. But can someone tell me what Big "O" is and what the room discount code is?

Big O (Congress) is 5 card pot limit omaha 8 or better. If there is a qualifying low hand, the low hand will get half the pot while the high hand get the other half of the pot.

I will go for the ring this January.

Room discount code isn’t out yet but you can go ahead and book your room then call hotel and add discount code after it comes out.

Still no discount code. Called the hotel and they don't have one yet.

Talked to Casino management and they said the code should be out in a few days and will text me the minute they get it and I will post it.

Not normally one to complain about room rates, but just called and they said that with the wsop code, it's $139 for weekdays in spa tower. Paid $79 a night for weekdays in November. Wondering why the big price increase?

I spoke to reservations. She said the code is wsop18.

The rates are ridiculously high this time.

For weekend spa 169, grand 159,inn 139,lodge 139.

Weekday 139,129,109,99 respectively.

She recommended I play slots to get better comp rate as that is the only way to get lower than the WSOP rate.

Got the same prices. Don't understand why the prices are almost double that of the November circuit series, especially a month in advance.

These are the nearly the same rates as last January Wsopc actually about $10-20 per night cheaper. Poker room has to fight just to get a block of rooms even without a discount as the hotel sells out at normal rates. I just checked priceline.com etc and found rooms a little cheaper than Wsopc discount so y’all might want to grab a room from them while they last.

Curious as to what happened to the big prelim $125. That drew in a lot of people.

Expect it back for their April/May event. With the wsop telling them to start on the 3rd it gave no time in front for other tourneys. A lot of players including myself will miss that tourney, great payouts for a $125 tourney.

It is the same tournament with 6 day one flights. Day 2 will be Sunday the 21st. That’s a nice tournament on the tail end. No ring but should be a very nice prize pool.

Also note it is a 5% payout.

Is it possible to pay using a credit card (and no cash advance fees)?

I was able to do it before but have not been to Choctaw in a long time.

The cash advance fee for paying with credit card at the registration desk is NOT a casino thing. That is going to be a card-issuer-dependent thing. I would ALSO not suggest calling the issuer to ask as it could be a good way for them to shut the account down given how twitchy some of them are about ANYTHING related to gambling...

There is some discussion about this in earlier Choctaw threads because I had posed a similar question that was an outcropping of registering online through the TicketMaster box office link on their site...

I missed the November stop, and last January is already a fog. Did they go to completely unlimited re-entry for all ring events now (through end of level 8 or whatever)? Schedule doesn't have a single label of freezeout, no re-entry, or single re-entry, so I assume this is the case.

I have used credit card a few years back on a visa and was charged the cash advance. In November I used Ticketmaster and paid the $15 fee. It was worth it and painless.

Everything is unlimited re entry with the exception of the main which is one
re entry per flight.

I believe they will let you use them for other buy ins because the person who handled mine considered it a "wire." But am not 100% on that one. As far as a full refund, I have no idea.

. In the past they have not refunded as Ticketmaster will not refund their charge but you can swap your entry for another tourney.
