It is what I think yes, and appears to be same as everyone else in thread not named Akashenk

OP even included MD, and I’m also in agreement with that

The map didn’t help you out? Lol

I don’t view southern NJ as the northeast. So sue me.

That might be excessive but you can stop cluttering up someone’s thread. I remember when a young Akashenk got upset many years ago when someone went off on a tangent in a thread he created. Scotch has great recall.

Pennsylvania &
New Jersey are Northeast states as per :

Google , Mapquest, Wikipedia, Amazone Distribution Centers,
The US Census Bureau . Etc

For my purposes I will believe them .

If any reason someone thinks they are not North east states , it doesn’t make any difference.

Don't they charge a small fortune to come to your venue? Maybe nobody thought it was worth it.

I think they do.

Anyhow, like most things in MA, it’s probably further away than one would hope, and may just be a pipe dream… but if Encore Boston Harbor eventually really gets back in the poker game, a WPT association would be very natural. And if that comes to pass, I can’t imagine the WSOP would allow them to be the only game in the region. So, perhaps the thing which would get the WSOP back into the heart of the northeast would be their competitor making the first move.

Well, if the WSOP really wants to make a splash in the northeast, they should go set up a tent and hold a series in the northern-most and eastern-most territory of the U.S. in Alaska.

Alaska is part of the Northeast ? Wow, I knew I shouldn't have skipped my 3rd grade Geography class!

Alaska is an island in the Pacific. Haven't you ever seen a map of the U.S.?

I don't know if this is the correct forum for this question....is there a place one can access the entire WSOPC events for 2025?

The lack of WSOP Circuit in the North east parallels the lack of any poker tournament series in the north east. After covid hit the biggest North East series all died. At Foxwoods the MegaStacks which used to happen about 6 times a year, at Parx near Philadelphia, the Big Stax, and the Borgota season series all basically died. Specifically they lost so many dealers due to Covid it has been hard to restart.

Parx has now had a Big Stax series. The Borgota recently had one of their seasonal series but Foxwoods still has not gone back to Mega Stacks.

Will be interesting to see if WSOP Circuit lands back in Atlantic City. I doubt it will hit Foxwoods in the near future. Turning Stone in upstate NY had it last year so I'm guessing it will be back this year.

Turning Stone has a WSOP Circuit event starting next Thursday. (see link below) I would have thought the WSOP would have gone back into Harrah's in Atlantic City since they owned the casino. Not sure if the new owners of the WSOP have any desire to go back in there. The Borgata has stepped up their tournaments in the last year, they had a winter poker open in January '24 and '25. A spring poker open last spring and a fall poker open last fall. Not sure if they will bring back these spring & fall this year. They have been hosting a number of shorter multi day events almost every month.

Staffing tournaments in the NE continues to be an issue as the cost of travel and lodging is not cheap and in some stops they have to have enough dealers to cover the multi day events held over a weekend but they don't need as many of them Monday-Wednesday which means the dealers wont make as much money as they need to in order to make a good wage on the tournaments.

WSOP-C brings its own dealers. If they can have a big series in cow-town NY, there’s no reason they couldn’t have a series in AC or Foxwoods.
