It's not that easy to make 4 hours in the Colostomy. I saw a LOT of people go out in the first 4 hours, including me. You have to get pretty lucky to get there.

A lot depends on your table too. Some of the players give new meaning to the word "clueless". The first level is 25/50 and we had guys open raising to 300 or 400. Then there might be 2 callers to you and you look at AQo. You only get 5k chips, so you have to play fit or fold on the flop because the pot's got like 2k chips already. So if you're on this kind of table you have to decide right from the start if you're going to fold marginal hands like AQ pre or not. And you're barely deep enough to set mine in the first level, forget about the second level. Early on it's get lucky or get on the rail.

I was thinking about Giants but if your trip is planned
for week of June 28 th , you can do it .Otherwise you have
to comeback 2nd time to Las Vegas to play day2 and 3.

So I opted for colossus.

Yeah this is exactly what I was thinking. I realize the levels in the Giant are shorter but the difference between a 25,000 starting stack and 5,000 one is pretty huge. 25K gives you wiggle room even if you lose a pot or two early on.

Re: WSOP What to play:

Flying into Vegas June 6th and staying until June 23

Staying at the following, all comped with no resort fees but requires some moving.

6/6-6/11 Planet Hollywood
6/11-6/14 Cosmo
6/14-6/17 Venetian
6/17-6/21 Caesars
6/21-6/23 Luxor

Schedule: I definitely won't be firing more than 1 bullet in a day and hope to make some day 2's so obviously, I don''t plan to play all these events. Definitely gonna fire the ones in bold. Thinking of adding the WSOP Marathon but that would affect the other tourneys I want to play in a big way. Willing to take suggestions on the schedule.

6/7 - $1500 WSOP 6 Max
6/8 - $600 Goliath Milly at PH
6/9 - $1500 WSOP Millionaire Maker 1A
6/10 - $1500 WSOP Millionaire Maker 1B

6/12 - $1000 NLHE Binions Championship 1A
6/13 - $1000 NLHE Binions Championship 1B
6/14 - $1600 NL 6 Max at Venetian
6/16 - $1000 WSOP Double Stack 1A
6/17 - $1000 WSOP Double Stack 1B

6/18 - $1600 MSPT Venetian 1A
6/18 - $1500 WSOP NLHE
6/19 - $1500 WSOP Shootout
6/20 - $1500 MSPT Venetian 1C

Good to hear cause I quit coming even if I liked the tourney.

I'll be playing 24k-34k worth of events, depending on if I stay for the main.

Moving all around using comps.

May 30-4 Rio 4-5 GN 6-10 at MGM 10-14 Rio. 14-18 Tahoe for break then figure out rest

3k shootout and PLO 1600 V starting off and be playing mostly 4 card. Gl all

Looks like a very good schedule.

Very similar to mine.

Would probably skip the Goliath milly though. High rake and fast structure.

I'm going from 6/6 to 6/15. If you don't fire the Marathon on 6/11, there is Day 1C of a $600 with $1M guaranteed at the Venetian. My plan for that day depends on how the first half of my trip has gone, but will be one of those tournaments (assuming I'm not in Day 2 of MM, heh).

Also on 6/6, Venetian has Day 1D of $1100 MSPT which has a 3.5M guarantee. I'm arriving at 5pm on the 6th and going to late reg it for sure.

GL!
