Does everyone that gets knocked out on Day 1 win a max of the mincash? Or does the pay scale increase from there even on Day 1?

I am assuming the hold em is the same as the plo. Each flight has its own prize pool. The plo giant I played in had top 74 with a min cash being like $400 something. It progressed up from there. We finished with 23 people left who advanced to day 2. 23rd place payed $1009 so the 23 people left were all paid $1009. The remaining prize pool rolls into a new prize pool when the 5 flights combine.

Thanks.

If you made it to day 2, gl. Probably a lot of people won't return for a small pay jump unless they have a ton of chips.

Thank you. I bagged over $1 million so as of right now I’m sitting 9 out of 72 with two flights left. I ran super hot. Blinds are huge though. We finished at 12k-24k.

You will likely get $365 as the min cash on day 2 to go with your cashout on day 1. So if you have a micro stack late in day 1, do not shove light. Instead, hang on for day 2 and you get a nice $365 bonus.

I played it yesterday and despite being fun most of the day, it was brutal the last few levels. Dealers had to stop dealing for close to 1.5 hours at around 1:30 am. It was stop 15 min deal, stop deal, etc.

Anyone know the issue that happened? We were already in the money. It seemed like there was an issue that they were dealing with behind the scenes

My presumption was that there were just too many people getting knocked out too quickly, and they couldn't keep up with it.

Hopefully the staff learns from this for next year, and perhaps have some kind of electronic device for each dealer so that whenever somebody gets knocked out, the dealer can report it to the device and it automatically gets recorded for the tournament staff.
