If you are planning multiple trips to the WSOP spread out over the series, please be aware that your Clear app for vaccination status will "expire". Your vaccination details will stay in the Clear system but you will need to verify your identity by having a picture taken of your face (the same way as when you initially enrolled). Not a big deal but something to be aware so that you dont get to the head of the registration line and have to deal with an expired health pass.

It is also possible that when I registered for my first event on 3 Oct, the WSOP system linked my vaccination status to my Caesars card. So, it might happen that when I head back on 30 Oct to register for more events the cashier will not ask for me to prove my vaccination status because the WSOP system remembered that I have proven my vacc status already. If not, I still have the "Vaccine Clearance" tickets from my earlier trip.

[BTW, I contacted Clear; they said all health passes expire after 12 hours, which is flat wrong because I remember my pass showed 450+ hours expiration initially. I think someone has posted app screenshots also showing the same.]

Clear App, not Cleap App

I think what they mean is that after you upload your documents, you take a selfie to verify your identity and create a health pass, which you take to the cage to get a vaccine receipt. Your vaccine receipt remains valid for the rest of the series, but you'll need to create another health pass if you need a new one.

I just checked the clear app and I need to take another selfie to access my info.

I got back from the WSOP on 10/21, and after reading the above posts I checked my Clear app. I tapped "Your pass" World Series of Poker, I didn't have to take a selfie, it just opened up to the flashing green page with my pic at the top, and I still have 363:02:38 left before it expires (15 days). I tapped on "Show More Info" and it even has my Booster shot listed that I received yesterday.

My pass also started with 450+ hours remaining...thats about 3 weeks. I enrolled on 29 Sep, so it makes sense it has expired when I checked today.

The purpose of this thread was to raise awareness that:
1. the pass did not stay valid throughout the duration of the WSOP;
2. Reinstating the pass requires nothing more than taking a selfie;
3. It is possible (but as yet unknown to me) that the WSOP registration system and registration workflow might remember that I was validated when I visited 3 weeks ago.

As a newcomer to this forum, my apologies if the language or "information density" in my posts dont align with posting norms/expectations. Trying to do my part in increasing knowledge (or attempting to!)
