I went out in level 8 set over set on flop that turned into quads. Guess he wasn't happy with just high set.

Thanks Tex for the info. Driving from Fort Worth is terrible. Anyone coming from that way be careful for construction east of LR. Didn't move an inch for 15 minutes.

Registration is open for 2 hours for most events. Check the structure sheet for events with shorter levels like the Turbos and Supers. Example the super is only open for 4 levels or 1 hour and 20 minutes.

So I started Event 2 at table 118 seat 10 in the main poker room and was told I couldn't get a recipt for the $10 dealer add on. The floor man told me it "was like tipping the valet" and I couldn't get a recipt. This is completely unacceptable and I've been able to get one at other stops.

On another note table 118 in the poker room has the worst felt I've ever played on in my life!! Like the cheapest stuff you can get from Wal Mart. There was no way the dealer could pitch the cards. He had to literally place them in front of every player. I would be embarrassed to run a homegame on this stuff, much less have it in an actual casino.

I understand that but you obviously haven't played on this particular table. This was the only one in the room with this kinda "felt", if you could call it that.

I sat at it yesterday waiting on a list but haven't played on it. I noticed how bad it was but it can't be helped now. They open that table last, best they can do I guess

Where is the best place to watch the superbowl around Tunica? Does one of the other casinos have a really nice sports book or anything or any decent spots bar around?

There was a small sports bar near sams town but it was apparently destroyed in a fire a few months back. anyway theres a tailgate party at harrahs. Sports betting isnt legal in tunica so no books

I have that "claim to fame" for being the first one out on Day 2 of Event #1!
Had less than 40K in chips when blinds went to 1200/2400 with 400 ante. Called a big raise preflop and went all in with QQ pre-flop. Other guy had KK (of course). I was hoping he had small pair. Oh well. Chris Moneymaker was at my table and I got to meet him.
This was my first WSOP tournament and had load of fun! And won some good money on the cash games (even thought it took forever to get seats! expecially on Saturday).

7pm nightlys $100 + $25 for a 2k starting stack. $10 dealer add on for an additional 1k. These add ons are a ****ing joke and I'm getting sick and tired of them. Why are these not $5? I doubt I ever make a trip again to anywhere this crew is running the show.
