Rendezvous is great. And almost anyone you ask in Memphis will tell you to head over there. It's a neat atmosphere, also. I, however, prefer Blues City Cafe on Beale. If I'm ever within an hours drive of Memphis I have to stop in for some ribs.

Just wondering. If you happen to win one of the 100 or 200 NLHE tournaments, do you just win the cash prize or do one of the tournaments win you a seat into the $345 ring event as well?

No seats are given to the winner of any tourney just money other than satellites.

Thanks Big Tex! Looking forward to playing in the $235 noon event this Friday. I have never played in one of the ring events but maybe this year will be the first.

First trip to Tunica and first Circuit event. So I've got some questions I could use some help with.

I'm staying in the Veranda hotel is it easier to drive back and forth to the casino than the shuttle?

What should I expect from the nightly $130 and $230 tournaments? Blind structures/# of entrants/how long does it last?

Is it easy/close to go from the poker area to blackjack/craps?

Is it worth my time to get a reservation at 37?

Event 1b starts at 12, when does "day 2" of event 1a and 1b run?

Thanks for all the information guys, really looking forward to donating to the cause.

The Veranda is a bit nicer than the Terrace Hotel, so you made a good choice. The shuttle is adequate between the two hotels and Casino. They are only a mile or so from the casino. A rental car gives you a little more freedom, but it will mostly sit in the parking lot. If you are a little patient, shuttle will suffice.

The nightly $235, and $125 tourneys typically get 100 to 200 players. Structure is a little more aggressive than normal and they tipically last about 8 hrs.

Tournament room at one end of the casino, poker room at other, with plenty of Blackjack and craps inbetween. No problem getting to gamble were you want.

37 Steakhouse is one of the best places to eat in Tunica. If you are on the plus side at the tables, definately would throw a little back and enjoy a decent meal.

Day two for Event 1A/1B will start at 2 PM on Saturday Feb 4, 2012. The day 1's are set for about 13.5 to 14 hours, so if play 1B, get some sleep before the day 2 start.

Wish you luck and tear it up!!!

A coin flip just depends on if you want to drive as shuttles run 24/7 every 15 minutes. It is less than a 1/2 mile drive but parking can be problem so I would take the shuttle as it drops you off at front door.

Blind structures can be found at: http://www.wsop.com/tourney/tourneyd...sp?groupID=854
Should be between 150/200 for numbers.

Yes an easy walk.

Steak house if fine but I prefer Samstown steakhouse.

At other events it has been either 11 am or 12 noon.

For WSOP Circuits is it a standard 10% field payout?

Just curious if there's a standard scale to figure out what the payout structure would look like depending on how many entrants you have. I've looked at some of the past events to get ideas but still curious.

As far as Sit and Go options. Someone said earlier there's a $65 1 table, winner takes $500 +50 cash and a $125 1 table winner takes $1000 +100 cash. Are all the sit and gos one table winner take all?

Thanks for the quick responses.

I never miss out on a stop at the Rendezvous when I come to Memphis, but on my trip last year I found the Little Tea Shop on the Flavortown app. Good stuff if you're in Downtown on a weekday looking for a lunch spot. Here, let Guy Fieri tell you about it: Little Tea Shop - Diners, Drive-ins & Dives Segment

IF you guys bust event 1, are you playing: 1. Event 2 Sat feb 4th at 12pm 345$ buyin ring event 2. Event 3 Sat feb 4th at 5pm 555$ buyin ring event 3. Play 2 if u bust by 3 get in 3

BTW, both 2/3 are two day events. What is your reasoning? Just looking for most value.

Thanks

From what I remember all of the satty sngs are winner take all, but chopping is fine and usually done. Also, many times people take side bets, do LL's etc

If I bust event #1 I'm gonna play event #2 for sure, in my experience the 12pm events always field more people than the night events. However, if I bust #2 early then I'm definitely gonna jump in #3 because it will still be a juicy prizepool due to the higher buy-in.

GL, ready for event #1 it's gonna be 1000+

TY and thats what I figured. Super pumped for event 1 as it will be a mad house. Higher buyin and 2k more starting chips is what kinda draws me to event #3 but looks like I will still plan on playing #2 (which will more than likely eliminate any chances of playing 3 unless I lagtard it up in 2). Wish they reversed 2 and 3....
