2-Day Event Event #2: No Limit Hold'em

Re-entry event. Players eliminated in 2A may re-enter in 2B.
2 day event spanning 3 calender days.
Example: If you start on 2B it will be a 2 day event (hopefully).

I get that but wouldn't that put 2b at the same time as event #4 on Sunday? or will there simply be two tournaments at 12? Just wish they would have listed it like event #1, I'm thinkin it may be just a normal tournament and not a reentry

In Bossier City and So Indiana the 2 main event starts merged on Sunday at 11am and another tourney started at noon. I agree running the main the same as they do event 2 would be better. Hammond is doing it this way so why not the others?

Last year they didn't do a room rate link due to people using it and not playing the tourney. Instead you book your room at your regular rate and after registering for a tourney you take the entry ticket to hotel registration and your room will be discounted. Rates were something like $35/55.

Hammond received an exception due to the anticipated and confirmed big field

My guess is that Tunica will have 1000 plus and Choctaw will have 1500 plus in the main event. So both of these will be close to Hammond and Choctaw may come close to surpassing it.

I feel like 1400 is a better number for over/under.

I set 1400 as over/under for the $345 reentry.

Any idea when the structure sheets will be available? There are a few irregularities in the schedule as posted (incorrect dates, unclear re-buy options, etc)

Tex,

Do satellites to the Main Event run during the course of the entire event? If so, what are the buy-ins like? I'm coming over for the six-handed event and at least one other NLH event, but wouldn't mind trying to play my way into the main if they run regular satellites.

SNGs run almost 24/7 from $45 to $180.

Jimmy,

Why is there only one non-holdem ring event ? I'm glad to see 2 horse events and 2 O8 Hi/Lo but why isn't one of them a ring event ??? they were ring events in both indy circuits...

WSOPC rules allow only one non-holdem event per circuit.

Untrue. Hammond had 3 non NLHE ring events. PLO+r, HORSE, O8.

Wsopc guidelines say one non holdem tourney per stop. Hammond had an exception like it gets in their main event. This info came from Jimmy today.

Jimmy,

1) How late is late registration for the 5pm non-holdem events?

2) I am wondering if the tournament rate will apply at the Horseshoe and if so what is it?

The February, 2012 weekday rate rate now for Harrah's outlying hotels is $30 (even some Fridays) and for the Horseshoe it is $45 but the weekends at the Horseshoe are $145/$165. These are rates after I log in with my TR card but I have like zero play other than poker and have never had a comp room.

1. One hour 2. $30/45 you register under whatever rate then show tourney entry slip to hotel desk and they will adjust your rate and it is only good at Harrahs

Thanks.

Players would do better to reserve now online for Harrah's if they have a Total Rewards card since they can get weekdays for $30 (or better) without play and some Fridays for the same which is a better deal than the tourney rate and no play requirements.

Looks like it is the Gold Strike again for me since I really don't like the outlying hotels at Harrah's at all and I'd rather stay at the Gold Strike if I can't get a rate at the Horseshoe.
