Id play a $500 hu. $1000 is a little steep for me. I also agree with Shawn on a PLO8 ring event. Not my game but I think it would be nice.

1K Ring event, no question.

Live Heads Up tourneys just aren't that great unless you are playing in a bracelet event in Vegas.

Agree. The AC staff tries hard but they are not the same as the experienced WSOP crew that does Palm Beach . Those guys run most of the tournaments around the country.

Maybe by moving the tourney back 2 weeks from the normal mid January start we will miss the ice and snow storms this year and that will help increase attendance.

lol - I drove up from ATL 2 years ago and didn't have an ice scraper. I took me an hour to get in my car and get the ice off so I could see to drive!

Hey BigTex,

It looks like this will be the next tourney I play as my work is insanely busy and the timinig of this just happens to work out. I haven't been to Tunica since around 2006 or 2007 and I stayed at the Goldstrike back then because I was doing WPT tourneys. So for this WSOPC thing, I was thinking of staying at the Shoe since it was a super nice place to play table games in my poker down time. With that in mind, do you happen to know if Harrahs still runs a shuttle from the Shoe to the Harrash casino where the WSOPC tourneys are played? (and if if runs late into the night while the series is running)
