It surely can't be too late to make a change last year Jack changed the structure of the main after the main event in Council Bluffs and now we are still a month away from the start.

I'm mostly a $1/$3 cash game player and i do pretty well at my local casino MotorCity. I played a few events last year at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and i really like the tournament scene and the structure of the WSOP circuit events...even placed 13th in the $560 6-handed. I'm planning to make the first few circuit stops to give myself a shot at the $1Million freeroll but the traveling expenses are pretty hard alone.
To make a long story short, I'm looking for a couple grinders to split hotel costs and maybe even swap 10% per tourney.
I'm from the Detroit area, my name is Jose Serratos I'm 29 and love to grind. I don't have a Facebook but any questions you may have feel free to ask.

played hammond, durant, stl, tunica, chester last season, thinking of doing the same + bossier, palm beach, biloxi this year.

That being said, are RV's +ev? Anyone have any pointers in what to look for? for 2-4 + dog

I started to buy an RV to do the circuits in since I will probably do Bossier City, Biloxi, Choctaw, Tunica, St. Louis, Vegas and NOLA but I calculated that it would be cheaper to stay in the extended stay hotels than using an RV.

That's what I'll do, are there options, or usually one per city?

Last year I stayed @ days in etc throughout the circuit. In Durant's Days Inn, a spider bit the other 3 in my group and left something under the surface of the skin like a stinger, luckily I wasn't bit. Didn't take us by surprise, it was during the big freeroll when people predicted a judgement day

At Durant microtel was doing a wsopc special for $150 a week, Bossier City staying at Value place $179.00 weekly, Biloxi--Studio 6 about $35 a night on weekly rate, Nola- Studio 6 $40 a night weekly rate, Studio Plus in St Louis $35 a night weekly rate. Most cities have extended stay hotels.

Wow. Thanks Tex. I will take you up on that offer. I'm flying up to Bossier City but driving to S. Indiana and Hammond since they are 4 hours away. I would be happy to return the favor.

Since I have never played any of these series events, tell me what I need to do to register for an event if I can't show up until right before it starts. Thanks.

You just need a players card and money or chips to register

I replied asking you for your schedule of other event stops to see if we can room in one of those.

Oh sorry Rounder,
I'm also going to the 2nd and 3rd stops in Southern Indiana and Hammond Indiana but I will be driving since its only 4hrs from Michigan. That way I could stay at an Extended Stay (usually $200/week) and save on cab fare to and from the Horseshoe.

Ok thx, still on the fence in regards to those 1 stops. Of the Indiana stops which is expected to have more players?
Also, let me know if you are going to Biloxi. I am planning that stop for sure.

I can't really say which Indiana circuit stop will have a better turnout, my guess would be Horseshoe Hammond as a more desirable stop because its 10 minutes from Chicago.
As for Biloxi, my bankroll is solid for the first three stops, hopefully I build my bankroll to continue on the circuit or back to the $1/$2 cash tables for me :-) I really want a seat in the $1million freeroll.

No comparison Hammond will have a much larger field, usually money or seats to the main event added for every tourney and Steve Frezer one of the best traveling TDs as the TD.

Oh Yea! Tex,
I remember reading that last year Horseshoe Hammond added a $1,600 Main Event seat and a $10k regional seat to the winner of each circuit event. You think they will offer something similar this year? That would definitely increase the field.

Hammond will easily have the biggest fields out of all the stop. They most likely will be giving away a ton of seats to the main event (from cash game giveaways) plus added seats to each event.

Yep of the 16 stops Hammond Horseshoe is the only one adding anything to the prize funds most of the other stops won't even give food vouchers or cheap rooms. Hope your listening Horseshoe Bossier City. Jimmy this is no reflection on you we know you don't have any control on what the casino does you just run damn good tourneys.
