Playing today (two day one’s) and so far there are only 103 runners through three levels. Guarantee is $500k, so might be an opportunity for an overlay...although, I’m sure they’ll get some rebuys today and tomorrow.
The lighting is awful. No lights directly above the tables, so the board is rather dark.

Attendance down 40% for this event compared to last year, which translates into $60,000 in lost revenue. Hopefully they don't make a habit of holding this during Thanksgiving weekend again.
Lighting at PH is never good and they don't seem capable of improving it significantly given that this has been an issue for several years now. IMO, lighting at the RIO venue is also bad since the giant spotlights shine right in your face depending on your position at the table.
I believe the best circuit stop in Vegas in recent years was Ballys in March a couple seasons ago. The lighting was great and despite being a relatively small ballroom space, they managed to churn through 1200+ entries for the ME. I hope the event their next spring is a huge success. WSOPc in Vegas ought to be one of the top handful of stops on the schedule, but they seem to screw it up more often than not.
