WSOP Circuit Paris Registration Question WSOP Circuit Paris Registration Question

Hey everyone, long time lurker, first time poster!

I am playing in the WSOP circuit next week, and I noticed that some of the satellitte events have a Cap on the number of entrants.
Are you able to pre-register for the satellites? Or is it just registration on the day?

Any other information will help alot!

Thanks

Daniel

Hi Daniel

Usually registration starts at 1.30pm everyday.
If you show up at 1.30pm you should be able to register for any event that day.
The Cercle Clichy website is down today but they offer online registration for the WSOP-C ring events.
I think you can register online for some of the biggest satellites but I'm not 100% sure.
Good luck to you!

Nixon or anyone.

In Paris thinking of playing Seniors tomorrow night. Any stereotype advice on how FRENCH players play live? I pulled results of first event at casino website and it looks like top 6 finishers were all amateur hobbyist like myself.

Also noticed they really spread out the prize pool.

Regards,

Johnny

Here is my Paris update on Cercle Clichy Casino.
Opens after 1:30pm. Line. You need to pay 50e to become member.
Bring valid passport. Nothing else works.

I saw at least 25 tables dedicated to cash game. Maybe more.
12NL, 24NL, 5-10NL maybe higher too. Maybe more. Active PLO board too.
No limit on buyin. Just minimums. Lots of guys there, many understand English. They use and understand poker terms in English and dealers were helpful.

Very bingo type players or aggressive. Good ones too. But some don't play pot odds, they play Luck!

Saw a Moroccan dude call all-ins at least 15 times with any two cards.
Kept rebuying or sucking out.
I remember hands he won Calling All-in with ****.
His Q3 beat pocket Jacks
His A5 off suit beat KK
His 56 suited beat AA.
He won a few, but lost about 1000 e. He cracked my Aces!!

Played Senior WSOP. The locals all had a lot of "moves" . Nobody really waiting for cards. If everyone checks, guy in position bets!
Chip leader called or bet preflop 15/18 times and raised flop with pot size bet and didn't have to show his cards....crazy. That's why he is chip leader.

Other guys would jam with any two cards when getting below 20bb and first one in.
A guy got really pissed that he was called by AJ when he shoved with 63 offsuit?
Coincidentally my AJ and they held!

Water and drinks cost money. Seats are uncomfortable. Easy access at metro stop Palace de Clichy of blue line M2.

PNC Paribus ATM across street ate my Bank of America debit card because I didn't take it within 10 seconds when asked to.....I wasn't paying attention, clearly.

Casino has other games like 21 poker and Chinese games. Very full. Extra room in back for poker tournaments so add another 18 tables...crowded too.

Security Guards were kind of dicks - but Paris is different. They have to buzz you in for security purposes. I watch them man handle a drunk outside on street just walking buy....I think it was a daily occurrence....

As far as the board goes, you automatically que yourself at kiosk with membership card. Very efficient and cool.

You can't bring in outside water, soda, or food. But they sell everything inside at inflated price. There are several restaurants right outside including Mickey Ds. They use Kiosks now too, no cash- how come is so far behind?

And of course, every where you walk outside the people watching is off the charts. Love the way girls/woman wear nylons and skirts ( and heels, of course).
