WSOP Circuit - Harrahs Cherokee. April 4, 2013 - April 15, 2013 - Page 8 - WSOP and Tournament Circut

I'm concerned about the events selling out. Does anyone think this is a valid thing to worry with? If so would it be best to buy into all the events your planning on playing at the beginning of the series? If one does buy in to all their events early then if they do well in one event it might run into the start of the next event they are playing. Any thoughts on this?

I don't see any selling out...hopefully Saturday's reentry will have 300+ per flight and that'd only be 30 tables so not concerned. Would be awesome though!

Depends on how deep you get. For the vast majority it will be one or two days.

If you register at least a few hours before each event I doubt they will sell out, but that is just my guess.

Then you will need to be there on day 3, unless the number of entries in the tournament is way below what they are expecting. Even then, they might delay final table to day 3 anyway.

There are quite a few WSOP-C events on the schedule, and most of them have very similar schedules as will be in place at Cherokee, so I assume they have some experience doing this.

The lack of a representative from tournament directors or existing poker room in this thread is pretty sad. Hopefully they will learn something after this first one.

looking to play 5/10+ plo and possibly a 1/2 and 1/2 game, any chance that'll run during series? About 4-5 guys from Atlanta will play as well, but hoping to have it not just be our regular home game

I get in on Friday the 12th. Playing #10B (Main). Probably going to play the 8pm Satty on Friday night. If anyone wants to meet up for dinner or a couple of cocktails on Friday night I'd be down.

I don't think that will be a problem. PLO has been running pretty strong on the weekends @ cherokee. However, not at those stakes. Mostly a 1/2/4 game but the average pot size is always 350-450 min. and often over 800. I'm down for 5/10 and have several friends coming who will play up to 10/25 and higher. They have an underground game that's half/half 2/5/10. Many of those players will be there.

Anyone know if Harrah's Cherokee will keep the buy in for 1/2 NLHE capped at $500 or will they remove that during the series? Will be playing Events #5-7 but for cash games, only have a BR for 1-2. Thanks.
