600 registered for event 2 at 10:30 with another 75 at least in line. Only had one bad dealer last night. She folded an all in player because she saw him push his cards forward. The whole table heard the declaration but she was to busy bitching about not getting pushed to any staff member that walked by. Other than that and the payout line things have been pretty smooth, well as smooth as we expected it to be.

I overheard a suit saying something about pushing some stuff back to accommodate the sizes... My guess is tomorrow's day 1A and 1B will be adjusted... Prob starting 1B later than 5pm

Over 200 alternates trying to get in. And the restart from yesterday's tournament starts soon. Dont know where the tables are gonna come from. If I get busted I might help deal.

Ill be there for main event next weekend. Pretty stoked if the field size is proportional to these prelims.

Was thinking of driving up for the weekend for the double header tomarrow as well but I have a feeling they won't be able to do it the way that they had hoped and I expect an even bigger turnout this weekend than for the opening event. Dun really wanna drive there for a single 365 event if they have to change it.

Headed tomorrow to play the 250 turbo.. It should be a big donkament field. Has anyone seen if there is a cap since its non ring event?
Cherokee is only about a 2 hr drive for me and has made VAST improvements in the last year with updates and live table games.. Live poker was just the missing piece... Work schedule is too busy or I would have played quite a few events. Just glad for the great turnouts and finally live cards relatively close.

Does anyone know if they have Texas Holdem Bonus Poker (table game in the pit) at Cherokee? I was told they did not but would assume they would have at least one given it is Harrah's property.

Never had such a long wait in the cash game tables. They could have prepared for this better

To be honest it seems like they are catering to the tournament crowd trying to accommodate as many as possible while not having tons of cash games. Personally I think it's a great gesture as I see the series as a tournament with cash on the side (but I understand everyone's frustration there)

So far, response has been double that of any recent WSOP-C stop. In the last month there has been a lot of criticism on this forum of the Casino for not promoting the WSOP-C tourney (even though they did promote it), and most people in this thread were expecting about 1/4 the number of entrants in the first event. Obviously, the more people who show up for the tournaments, the more of them are going to be playing cash games after they bust out.
