1. Obv you need a rewards card and will need to load $$ on it. Will you be able to buy in or register for a WSOP event using the funds on the card? It would be pretty convenient to just put all cash on the card upon arrival and be able to use it for WSOP and/or regular casino poker room. Just curious.
2. Is there any fitness facility onsite available? I think it was mentioned that it was being renovated but wasn't sure if a couple treadmills, etc are available in another portion of the casino.
3. I think I read the event center table breakdown will something like 75 total and 60/15 tourney/cash. Any chance any of the cash will be SNG?
4. Any issues with having cooler in room? Can drinks be walked around with in casino, hotel area, etc?
1. There is a rule that if WSOP-C is at a Caesar's Property (including Harrah's) you must get a Total Rewards Card to play in the WSOP-C. Separately, if you play on the PokerPro tables, you must load your card with cash to be used in the game. Although I am not 100% sure, I don't believe that cash loaded on the card for PokerPro can be directly used to register for WSOP-C events (although you can go to a cashier at any time and withdraw funds, and then use them to register for WSOP-C).
2. I would call the hotel directly and ask them the about fitness facility. I have stayed there about 5 times, but don't recall. Typically I have used the grand staircase in the front of casino to get some exercise between hands (go down the escalator and walk up the stairs, and repeat until done).
4. Bringing a cooler into the poker room or special events center? I don't know but they may not like that. Not sure if you can walk drinks around since the casino is somewhat separated from poker room and other 2nd floor stuff. Also, each major restaurant (like Brio next door) is separately owned/leased and not sure if they have their own liquor license. But if you are on Casino floor, you can take drinks around to other places on casino floor, but that is probably not what you are asking. There are security guards at every connection between casino floor and 2nd floor stuff, since children are allowed on 2nd floor (except for poker room).
