Looks like it's an identical schedule to the Harrah's Atlantic City stop.

You can say that again. Anyone looking to share a room for the whole shebang? I may stay at a hotel if I can or a casino room if it's cheap enough. Can't get rates for these dates off the Caesar's website. Anyone know how many runners the Road to the 2013 WSOP Main Event will probably get on March 11th? How many did it attract last year?

Anyone know where I can find relatively cheap rooms nearby Caesars? The prices have been jacked up alot.

usually bally's is cheaper, which is actually connected to caesar's so you'd have to walk a bit but it would be inside. Also Showboat is generally cheaper which is also on the boardwalk but is a decent walk outside to caesar's.

then from there you can look for hotels in Absecon which are generally not as nice and from there it would require driving to and from caesars

IF information from my call to the Caesar's poker room (609) 343-2789 is correct, the event code is WSOP13 and Sunday through Thursday rates are $75, Friday is $229 and Saturday is $349. However, the rate calendar for Showboat shows Sunday through Thursday $20 a night, Friday $100.80 and Saturday $150.40. So 3/1-3/4 was $271.20 plus fees and taxes of $67.97. Hope others can do better.

Got basically the prices BigDaddy got at Showboat at but at Bally's with my total rewards #. I don't have a ton of tier points so most people should be able to get that same deal.

Staying Sunday 3/3 thru Wed. 3/6. Used my TR card for 3 comped nights at Caesar's. A heads up, I played a cheap circuit event at Harrah's AC 3 years ago, which is why I got a TR card. I spent probably less than $200 in the casino, but I get monthly offers. You don't have to be a baller to get a ton of comp offers.

for the main? No, as far as I'm aware this is generally the standard

They've done day 1a & 1b on the same day before and not done it like that too. When they do both in one day, they only play to like 400-800 blinds or so - making day 2 is basically about the same as making the dinner break on a normal long day 1.

FYI, I booked through Total Rewards and got $45/night or less for everything but Friday/Saturday (8th/9th) which were much more. It averages out to not be too awful I guess. Six days for around $600...

wow, that's bizarre to me cuz I've never played the circuit events... why not do what the Borgata does? If you're gonna let people re-enter for 1B, why make people who busted quickly on 1A have to wait til 7pm?

No wonder their turnouts pale in comparison to Borgata's...

edit: Not sure if this is accurate. It says the tournaments are $300+$65, $500+80, and $1,000+$125.

However, I played a couple $365s at harrahs AC during their series, and I am pretty sure it was $320+$45. Over 20% rake is pretty bad, then they take 3% out of pool for dealers after, per NJ mandates or something.

Are these tournaments going to be in Caesars poker room or somewhere else?

I went to Caesars last time and thought the poker room wasnt big enough to run large field tourneys...

It was in an "event space" last year and I would imagine it will be the same this year
